Our Mission

The foundation serves as the trust agency of the Baptist General Association of Virginia (Virginia Baptist Mission Board), promoting the ministry of charitable planned giving and providing money management services for gifts that strengthen the Redeemer’s Kingdom.

Our Ministry

The foundation partners with Virginia Baptist donors, churches, schools, institutions and agencies to accomplish its mission by:

• Encouraging Christian stewardship and philanthropy
• Receiving and distributing gifts for charitable causes
• Assisting in the preparation of charitable wills with donor-selected allied professionals
• Managing funds for irrevocable trusts, endowments, scholarships, cemeteries and other special funds
• Conducting charitable planned giving educational programs
• Awarding scholarships and grants
• Demonstrating transparency, accountability and efficiency
