Richmond, VA—Cindy R. Elmore has been named Director of Donor Relations at the Virginia Baptist Foundation, Incorporated. Mrs. Elmore, a native of Hartselle, Alabama, formerly served as the Director of Development at the Arthritis Foundation in Richmond. She has previously served as the Director of Development at the John Randolph Foundation in Hopewell and as a Publications Specialist at the Federal Reserve Bank in Richmond.
Mrs. Elmore brings a wealth of experience as well as a passion for Christian ministry to her new position at the Virginia Baptist Foundation. Upon her naming by the Administrative Committee of the Foundation, Reverend Ronald C. Hall, President of the Foundation stated, “Cindy Elmore possesses great interpersonal, marketing, and fund raising skills which will serve her well and advance this ministry. However, her greatest attribute is her passion for the cause of Christ. I look forward to her meeting and serving our Virginia Baptist family.”
Cindy Elmore holds a Masters of Public Administration in Non-Profit Management from Virginia Commonwealth University, a Bachelors Degree from Tennessee Temple University, and is a Certified Fund Raising Executive. Her husband (Joe) is the Pastor of Crowder Memorial Baptist Church in Petersburg and a member of the Virginia Baptist Mission Board. They have 3 children (Annamarie, Joel, and Josiah). Mrs. Elmore will assume her responsibilities at the Foundation on October 3rd, 2011.
